Metrodome Renovation

This seems rather unlikely, and a bit undesirable. The dome would still have a dirty-white roof, and no view of the field from the concourses. The turf would remain, as would the bland oval-ness of it all. Seems like the money could be better spent somewhere else.

I've gotta say that when I saw this "dome renovation" plan below in the paper, I liked it very much. They really should still call it Kirby Puckett Place (unless he gets convicted), maybe keeping a sunken walkway to the home plate marker and to the spot where Kirby's 1991 Game 6 homer landed.
