St. Paul River Flats Ballpark Site (Twins)
Between Robert Street and Wabasha Street, South of downtown St. Paul
This is a nice site, but a little bit off the beaten path. There's no real parking, and no freeway access whatsoever. Still, the view would have been amazing.

This drawing seems a little bit generous on the green space.
In reality, it's mostly asphalt (see below).

Here's my photo of the site (April 2002) which shows off the magnificent skyline view.
(And all that asphalt.)

A closer look shows that something is already under construction here.
Is that a . . . parking ramp? If so, that's one optimistic builder...

Looks like this conception assumes that the railroad bridge would have been removed. Pity.

I'm not exactly sure which part of this drawing represents the park.
