Become a Member

TC Traders makes connections between people who have tickets and people who want them. In other words, you are not buying from or selling to TC Traders directly.

When you join, you're becoming a member of a community with responsibility to the other community members. But it's easy: Just do what you say you're going to do. If you agree to buy, sell or trade tickets, just follow through in a timely manner. If a problem arises, be reasonable.

Hopefully, there won't be any trouble. But if there is, and you caused it, you can be tossed out of the club. Plain and simple.

The club exists for people who want to see games, rather than make profits. So, when you buy tickets, use them -- don't resell them. If you buy tickets here and list them later on another service at a profit, you'll have to explain yourself, and could be tossed out of the club.

At the same time, you're entitled to fair market value for your tickets. So there are no limits to the price you can ask. (If you sell tickets for more than twice their face value, you'll get a "tip jar" request from TC Traders. Tips are optional -- for now.)

Because this service is new, there may have to be changes. If something like that comes up, you'll get plenty of notice, have the opportunity to provide feedback, and every attempt will be made to accommodate objections.

Finally, TC Traders will attempt to verify personal information (email, phone, address, etc.) on all members. But there are no guarantees beyond what can be verified. If something goes wrong, and it's outside the TC Traders online system, it's your responsibility. You assume that risk. Caveat emptor.

"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."

– Rogers Hornsby

A closer look into the park from down the street. How great will this view be during a game??

"Just take the ball and throw it where you want to. Throw strikes. Home plate don't move."

– Satchel Paige

"No matter how good you are, you're going to lose one-third of your games. No matter how bad you are you're going to win one-third of your games. It's the other third that makes the difference."

– Tommy Lasorda

I suppose that one day my son will graduate from Mrs. Fields to Hooters. At least he won't have to travel too far. *Shudder*

"Now, you tell me, if I have a day off during the baseball season, where do you think I'll spend it? The ballpark. I still love it. Always have, always will."

– Harry Caray

Don Swanson, left, in-coming commander of the Richfield American Legion, and Joe Kennedy, right, out-going commander, are pictured with the Legion's new flag pole, which once stood at old Metropolitan Stadium. (Click to enlarge.)

"All the ballparks and the big crowds have a certain mystique. You feel attached, permanently wedded to the sounds that ring out, to the fans chanting your name, even when there are only four or five thousand in the stands on a Wednesday afternoon."

– Branch Rickey

Better them than me

"I see great things in baseball. It's our game - the American game. It will take our people out-of-doors, fill them with oxygen, give them a larger physical stoicism. Tend to relieve us from being a nervous, dyspeptic set. Repair these losses, and be a blessing to us."

– Walt Whitman

Is it possible to take a bad picture of this building?

"Now there's three things you can do in a baseball game: You can win or you can lose or it can rain."

– Casey Stengel

Yes, it's pretty tempting to just walk right in...

"You talk about the magic, the aura, but what really makes a stadium is the fans. Concrete doesn't talk back to you. Chairs don't talk back to you. It's the people who are there, day in, day out, that makes the place magic."

– Bernie Williams
